Even though it’s only March, actress Sydney Sweeney from HBO’s ‘Euphoria‘ may have just released one of the year’s most iconic apparel collaborations.
Sweeney’s character, Cassie, attempted to seduce Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) in a strappy one-piece swimsuit in an early 2022 episode of the show — season 2, episode 4, if you were wondering. Within 24 hours of the episode’s airing, hundreds of fans went on the hunt for the sexy swimsuit, eventually landing on a 500-person waitlist for the sold-out swimsuit from Venice, California-based Frankies Bikinis.
Because of this, Sweeney decided on her latest adventure: designing bathing suits — beginning with an even sexier Euphoria-inspired design, called ‘Love Letters by Sydney Sweeney,’ collaborating with Frankies Bikini founder Francesca Aiello on the concept.
‘I immediately envisioned a collaboration for Sydney to create pieces that truly embody her gorgeous femininity, her bombshell romantic aura, not to mention her numerous talents,’ said Aiello in a press release.
Sweeney says she wants people to feel good in her swimsuits. ‘I’m in Australia now filming, and wearing my pieces almost every day, she explained in an interview. ‘I think it’s powerful to show the world you are unapologetically yourself,’ Sydney continued. ‘We wanted pieces that made people feel confident and free in their bodies.’
