Bandai Namco is back with another look at Tekken 8, this time for American biker Paul Phoenix, following their recent gameplay trailers for Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. In the trailer, Phoenix squares off against longtime friend Marshall Law, showcasing his modified judo through a series of combos and counters, in his continued quest to prove he’s the world’s best fighter. You can check out the trailer below:
Most notably, Paul has abandoned his signature hi-top fade in what appears to be a new hairstyle crisis. It looks stupid as hell, and while we still believe he should kill his barber, the 54-year-old fighter can punch holes through fucking walls, so we’ll just keep our mouths shut.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It’s a sequel to 2017’s Tekken 7, and features an upgraded visual style powered by Unreal Engine.
Although no release date has been announced, Bandai Namco has revealed that Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, and Jack-8 will return as playable characters in Tekken 8.
