The Black Wheel is the Miniot’s ‘finest wheel ever made,’ according to the small Schagen, Netherlands-based company. It’s completely handcrafted out of high-quality black materials and brushed metal, and it’s been meticulously tuned to ensure that it both looks and sounds great.
Depending on the type of interior design style you’re going for, the Black Wheel can be used upright on a stand, hung on a wall, or flat on a table, or whatever space you have to work with.
All movement is controlled by three closed-loop motors and the linear tonearm at the tip of the stylus. The acclaimed AT Nude Shibata cartridge provides a precisely controlled signal to the built-in audiophile preamp. The Wheel’s unrivalled Stylus Tracking and Constant Groove Speed are true turntable innovations.
The delicate cartridge-to-preamp signal path on the Black Wheel is only eighteen millimetres long. The linear tonearm’s audiophile phono stage ensures a pure RIAA equalised signal straight to your amplifier, headphones, active speakers, or wireless setup. The new stand comes with each Black Wheel and has a rectangular base plate with more mass for improved balance and damping.
