Reacher Season 2 Officially Wraps Filming

Alan Ritchson posted a video from the set to announce that season 2 of Reacher is finished.

Prime Video announced today on Twitter that production on Season 2 of their hit action drama Reacher has wrapped. We, like every other fan, have been anticipating Reacher season 2, which began filming back in September 2022.

In the short video, lead actor Alan Ritchson is in his Reacher costume with blood on his face, and announces ‘I just came off set,’ he says as he announces the wrap. ‘Reacher Season 2, the last scene is done. As you can see, things got a little crazy. We promised things will be back bigger and better than ever. And we did not lie.’ He then walks over to a giant clapboard and says, ‘We do it Reacher style, here it is to close out the season,’ as he claps the giant board. ‘It’s officially done. Season 2 is back bigger and better than ever. We promised we would, and the proof is in the pudding.’

You can check out the wrap announcement below:

The first season was based on the book Killing Floor, where Ritchson played a former military policeman who used his abilities to take down villains like dishonest police officers and greedy businessmen. He’ll be back for revenge in the second season, though. This season, it’s likely that Reacher will be investigating the deaths of his friends from his former military unit, as Ritchson has previously hinted that the second season will be based on the eleventh book in the series, Bad Luck and Trouble.

Along with regular cast members Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie, Edsson Morales, Andres Collantes, Shannon Kook-Chun, Ty Victor Olsson, and Josh Blacker, Reacher season 2 includes several new faces as well as some guest appearances. The new season will feature Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley, Shaun Sipos, Rory Cochrane, and special guest star Domenick Lombardozzi.

All episodes of Reacher Season 1 are available to stream on Prime Video.
