Black Mirror Season 6

Black Mirror Season 6 Features a Star-Studded Cast

The long-awaited new season hits Netflix on 15 June.

Fans have eagerly anticipated Black Mirror season 6 for a few years now. The fifth season of the Netflix sci-fi anthology series premiered in 2019, and it was a short one at that, with only three episodes. Fans will have to wait a little longer for the next instalment of Charlie Brooker’s creepy Netflix series, which will only be slightly longer at five episodes. An official trailer for Black Mirror season 6 has been released ahead of its June 15 premiere on the streaming service, which you can check out below:

According to the show’s synopsis, ‘twisted tales that span eras — and terrors — deliver a myriad of surprises in this game-changing anthology series’ most unpredictable season yet.’

One of the most meta plotlines is for an episode called ‘Joan is Awful‘, which looks like a Netflix-type show that mirrors a woman’s (played by Schitt’s Creek actress Annie Murphy) real-life events that are updated on a daily basis.

Along with Murphy, the Black Mirror season 6 cast also includes Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, and Kate Mara. Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin, and Zazie Beetz also star in the season.

Black Mirror season 6 premieres on Netflix on 15 June 2023.
