Capcom has announced the return of Guile, making him the fifth character revealed for Street Fighter 6. Guile joins legends like Chun-Li, Ryu, and Luke, and newcomers like Jamie on the Street Fighter 6 roster, which was revealed during last week’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast. Street Fighter 6 is the next evolution of the Street Fighter series, set to be released worldwide in 2023.
Guile’s move set in Street Fighter 6 is as tough as ever, bringing back some of the classics like the Flash Kick, Sonic Boom, Sonic Blade, Sonic Hurricane, and Solid Puncher. The game also introduces a brand new Super Art move called the Crossfire Somersault, which fires a massive aerial slash followed by a devastating Somersault Kick.
With the Classic Control Type, players can challenge themselves to pull off each of the high-powered attacks, or jump right into the action with the brand new, simplified Modern Control Type.
