Life is Strange: Double Exposure

Calling all Life is Strange fans! Get ready to crack a case early with Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Square Enix launched Early Access for the first two chapters yesterday, giving you a head start on this supernatural murder mystery.

That’s right, you can dive into the first two chapters of the game right now, if you grab the Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition. Get ready for some seriously shocking thrills — the full game launches on 29th October 2024.

This time around, we’re following everyone’s favourite time-bending photographer, Max, who’s now working at Caledon University. But things are about to get a whole lot more interesting than campus life. Max stumbles upon a crazy mystery that spans parallel universes, and meets a bunch of unforgettable characters along the way – from brainy astrophysicist Moses to aspiring poet Safi.

If you loved the episodic releases of the past Life is Strange games, then these first two chapters are a must-play. They set the scene perfectly for the dramatic rollercoaster ahead, and you definitely don’t want to miss them.

The game’s director, Jonathan Stauder, is buzzing about getting fans involved early, saying:

“Life is Strange: Double Exposure is packed with twists and turns, and we want you guessing! With the early access for chapters 1 & 2, we’re giving fans a chance to speculate, theorize, and analyse the story just like they did with the original episodic series. We can’t wait to hear all your theories after you play these first two chapters!”

And don’t worry, any progress you make during Early Access carries over to the full game when it launches on 29th October, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Happy sleuthing!
