Whitney Odom. This lovely comes to you out of South Carolina, and even though she’s only been modeling for a short time, Whitney is definitely making a name for herself. She has most notably been seen in episodes of VH1’s “Single Ladies”, as well as music videos and other webisodes. With her combination of exotic looks, and an agressive attitude, she’s someone that you should keep your eyes on.
We got a chance to get this hottie’s responses to our favorite Q&A.
So Whitney, where were you born, and how was life growing up?
I was born in Bamberg County Hospital, in South Carolina. Life for me as a child can be described as ignorant bliss; I enjoyed practically every moment of my childhood without the weight of the world on my shoulders. Things were not perfect and my family did struggle, but my mother still did her best to keep me from seeing our troubles and give me what ever my heart desired.
What nationality are you?
I am considered an African American; Many people think I am mixed with Asian and Black, but there isn’t any known Asian descendants in my family. I do have Caucasian ancestors, so there lies the answer to my “controversial features”.
Did you go to college?
I am not currently enrolled in college, but I still have plans to continue pursuing my degree.
How long have you been modeling?
I have been modeling a total of 10 months now.
How did you get your start in modeling?
My mother introduced me to modeling as a child, but after a select turn of events last year, I decided to reunite with my true passion.
You’ve done some acting too, right?
Yes, I have performed as an extra on the VH1 series “Single Ladies” and “Love & HipHop: Atlanta” along with webisodes, and video features.

Do you consider yourself famous?
Oh no, not yet anyway. I am a very humble person, and I know I still have a lot of growing to do in all aspects before I can even consider myself famous.
Do people recognize you when you’re out and about? If so, how do they react/treat you?
Those who follow me on my social media, whether they are people I have met or not, almost always recognize me when I’m out and about so to speak. Many of them tend to be overly nice, some of them remain normal and treat me like everyone else, and a few of them can’t help but be haters.
What do you like best about being a model?
I think best thing about being a model for me is having the ability to transform from someone simple yet, beautiful, to someone extraordinary and beyond comparison.
What would you be if you weren’t a model?
Who knows? There are so many things I have the ability to do, but nothing else satisfies me quite like modeling and acting.
What would the average person say about you?
They would say I am humble, caring, and a bit stubborn.
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?
My kindness should never be mistaken for weakness!

Yes, I’m a great dancer!

Do you like the nerdy type, MMA fighter guy or the regular Joe?
The regular Joe.
Are you seeing anyone? Do we stand a chance with you?
I am currently in a relationship with a man I love dearly by the name of Kian; I have no idea what the future may hold, so I just hope for the best.
Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures?
First step to seeking power, never let anyone know your weaknesses, but as for guilty pleasures – I absolutely love to eat, and I do mean EAT! This coming from someone who is supposed to constantly watch her weight; Thank goodness for a high metabolism!
What’s your biggest turn on?
Assertiveness and Power.
Do you consider yourself more of a “giver” or a “taker”?
Um, 50/50; I’m a giver in spirit, and taker by nature.
What is the most romantic thing a guy has done for you?
After my long trip, he had a trail of rose petals leading from the front door to a hot bubble bath surrounded by candles. Gave me a massage as I relaxed and slipped a beautiful heart shaped necklace around my neck. It was the perfect end to a long, trying day!
If you could have any car you wanted, what would it be?
I have no idea! I don’t know much about cars.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Outside of modeling and acting, I can also sing.
What would you consider your strongest attribute?
My ambition.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you?
London, and I would bring along my mother, grandmother, and BFF Angelita Lingard because these women have really done a lot for me over the years and they deserve it more than I do.
What do you normally sleep in?
A T-shirt and sleep shorts (boy shorts).
What is your favorite food?
Seafood.
Who is your favorite comedian?
Kevin Hart.
What do you do for fun?
Travel, shop, go to the movies, go bowling, spend time with family and friends, party, etc.
Do you like video games? If so, what do you play?
No not really.
Are you into sports? Do you have a favorite sports team?
Yes, but I do not have a favorite team, only favorite players.
What are your dreams and goals?
To simply be successful in my career endeavors, and strategically thrive off of that success.
