We’d like you to meet up-and-coming Colombian model Andrea Calle. It’s a name that you’ll probably want to remember, because this ever-busy lady is taking the modelling world by storm, with her amazing personality and beautiful figure. Currently studying to be in broadcasting, with hopes of having her own talk show, we’re sure that men everywhere will never miss an episode of ANYTHING this fire-hot Latina is in.
After playing phone tag for a bit, we finally got a chance to speak with Andrea, and get her responses to our favourite Q & A.
Hi Andrea! Welcome to Chulo Magazine. We gotta start by asking, what’s your real name? It’s Andrea Calle.
Really? Calle is your last name? We thought that was your modelling code name. No, that’s my name.
Where were you born, and how was life growing up? I was born in Medellin, Colombia. I was blessed growing up; I had everything that I wanted. The only problem I had was that my father died when I was young. But my Mom was still able to be a mother and father to me.
What nationality are you? I’m Colombian.
When did you move to the United States? In 1998.
Do you go to college? Not anymore. I graduated with a degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami, and this year I finish broadcasting school.
How long have you been modelling? For 2 years. But my main passion is broadcasting.
How did you get your start in modelling? I was doing my Masters, and a friend said that I should do some modelling on the side to get some money while I graduated, and then I started doing photo shoots and videos, and then I saw that I was doing it full-time.
Well, we have a deep appreciation for your friend. So, where have we seen you? I’ve been in videos like Fire Flames with Birdman, a video with Roscoe Dash, 411 pain commercial, Veze Skante – Die Famous, Conjunto Atadecer, Ella es Fichu Fichu – Donbi, and You’re Gonna be Sorry – Kahlil.
What do you like best about being a model? I really enjoy meeting great people every day.
What would you be if you weren’t a model? When I started modelling, my Masters was in Oriental Medicine.
What would the average person say about you? They usually say “I never thought that you were so smart and easy-going”. They think that I would be a brat, but I’m not like that.
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know? I’m very humble. God is first in my life, and I’m very positive.
Are you a good dancer? I like to dance. I can dance to everything.
Break dancing too? We might have to challenge you. No! Just regular, normal dances.
We’re kidding. We can’t breakdance. That’s what I thought, that you were joking.
What do guys compliment you most on? My lips.
Do you like the nerdy type, MMA fighter guy or the regular Joe? I like all guys. I don’t have a particular type.
Are you seeing anyone? Do we stand a chance with you? No, I’m single. And of course guys have a chance! I’m not an alien. I’m just like any other girl.
YES! Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures? Guilty pleasures? I think I have the same as everyone else. I don’t have any secret weaknesses. I’ve got nothing to hide.
What’s your biggest turn on? A smart guy. I think that’s the best thing. And someone funny that can make me laugh. That’s very important.
Do you consider yourself more of a “giver” or a “taker”? A giver.
What is the most romantic thing a guy has done for you? One guy flew 6 hours to see me, just to have a romantic dinner.
If you could have any car you wanted, what would it be? Maserati in white, with a burgundy interior.
A Maserati? Why? I just like it. I like Italian cars. Maserati’s are fast, sporty, and classy. And cute, just like me! (laughs)
We totally agree with the cute thing. So, do you have any hidden talents? I can cook!
What would you consider your strongest attribute? I’m dedicated and focused. I achieve everything that I want in life.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you? I travel to a lot of places, so there are not a lot of places that I haven’t seen. But I would go to Asia because I like their culture, and I would take my sister. She’s awesome like that.
What do you normally sleep in? A wifebeater and… Underwear?
We’d ask what kind of underwear, but erm… Moving on! What is your favourite food? Seafood. I love seafood.
Do you have a favourite comedian? Andres Lopez. He’s Colombian.
What do you do for fun? I stay home, watch movies, have pizza, and relax.
Do you like video games? If so, what do you play? Nope. I used to play Street Fighter, though.
Street Fighter? You’re awesome just for saying that. (laughs) Yeah, I used to be good at it, too.
Are you into sports? Do you have a favourite sports team? Yeah very. I cover sports. The Colts. I like them a lot. I have Score Mobile, and it keeps me updated with their info.
What are your dreams and goals? My dream is to have my own talk show on TV, get married, have kids, and have a family,
