If you haven’t heard of model hottie Akacia Boven, then give us a moment to change that. Born in Minnesota, USA, Akacia grew up in Washington and Georgia before moving to California to pursue her dream of being a beauty pageant model. If you’re wondering where her looks come from, Akacia is a stunning blend of Russian, Swedish, and German.
Following her pageant success, Akacia landed a steady gig as a Budweiser model, and has gone on to do loads of print work, being featured in Playboy South Africa, FHM Sweden, and Maxim. We’re not sure what she’ll get up to next, but we’re definitely going to enjoy seeing what she does.

Akacia, welcome to Chulo Magazine! How does it feel? Thank you! It feels awesome!
How did you get into modelling? I started travelling all over for bikini pageants and signed with a couple of agents.
We’ve obviously seen your Instagram, and you mention being in Maxim, Playboy, and FHM in your bio. Where else have we seen you? I was a Budweiser model for several years! I also have modelled for several swimsuit companies during Miami swim week. I have been featured as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Lady of the Day. I have also been on Rob Riggle’s NFL pregame show on Fox.
What do you love and hate the most about the business? I love to travel and meet new people, that is the best part. Auditions are my least favourite part of modelling.
You’ve done a lot! What’s the craziest thing you’ve had to do on a shoot? I got stuck in the Salt Flats in Utah for a car shoot. That was pretty crazy!
Do you travel much for work? I travel a lot for work. I mostly work in California and Nevada but I travel to Florida, The Bahamas and Hawaii.
Obviously, you’re set for stardom… what are your future plans? I have signed with a couple of new agencies. I hope to land a few more jobs on Fox sports. I would like to be a host of a sports show!
You’re from California, but our winters out here can be pretty harsh. Do you hibernate or brave the night? I love warm weather even if it is 100 degrees. I am always cold! I still wear my summer clothes in the winter, that’s probably why I am freezing. I am pretty brave going out in the cold in shorts.
What do you wear under the covers in the wintry months? You don’t strike us as a socks-and-jammies type of girl. I wear little shorts and a crop top! I never wear socks!
You had us at little shorts. Just sayin’. Okay, what’s the naughtiest piece of lingerie you own? I own a ton of garters and corsets from Victoria’s Secret.
We’re definitely on board with your choices, to say the least. How do you feel about video games? I like classic games like Super Mario Brothers, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong County and Zelda. They are so fun and the new versions on the Nintendo Switch are great too!
Classic games are the best! So we gotta know, what turns you on in a guy? I love easygoing, funny and adventurous guys. A nice smile helps too!
What’s the most romantic thing a guy has ever done to win over your affections? Surprised me with a trip to Maui on a five-seater aeroplane. Romantic and a little scary!
It’s our round! What are you drinking? Always red wine. Daou is my favourite!
Coffee or tea? Coffee, I like it with white mocha!
Shower or bath? Shower!
Morning person or night owl? I am a morning person. I love to get up and work out early! I like to stay up late but I am always up early!
