ABOUT SYLVIE BABY
Ohio-based up-and-coming model Colleen, better known as Sylvie Baby, started her modelling career just two years ago. Taking a leap of faith, Sylvie decided to ‘take the plunge’ into modelling. With the motto ‘The answer is always no if you don’t try,’ she’s quickly making a name for herself.
Sylvie’s awesome 34-28-36 figure has graced the pages of East Coast Angels, Stiletto, Definition, 504Dymes, and other publications.
When asked about the inspiration behind her modelling name, Sylvie reveals a connection with her fanbase. Recognising a shared nerdy side, she drew inspiration from the captivating character Sylvie Laufeydottir in the Disney+ series Loki. Adopting the name Sylvie Baby, the name resonated with her and perfectly encapsulated her personality and style.
Welcome to Chulo Magazine Sylvie! It’s awesome to have you.
It feels so exciting! I have been following you guys for quite a while now!
We gotta ask, what made you want to be part of Chulo Magazine?
I love the content you put out, and always thought it would be so fun to be a part of the memories.
How’s your year going so far?
This year so far has been full of a lot of excitement and trying to do new things. I’ve been a little held back with some personal health issues, but I’m pushing through and moving onward and upward.
Any exciting projects lined up this year?
I will be in Chicago soon for a newsstand premier.
What are the three best moments of your career?
I have been able to travel to some exciting places top favourites so far are California and Louisiana, have met some extremely talented models and photographers alike, have gotten to sit down with them and learn, and getting to meet some of my fans in person. This was so strange at first, but I learned that in an open environment, it’s not so bad.
Are you seeing anyone? Do we stand a chance with you?
Am I seeing anyone… guess you will just have to wait and see. Of course, Chulo stands a chance. (winks)
How romantic are you?
I love the idea of romance, but I am such a goofball and I am so awkward.
What is the most memorable date you’ve ever had?
Well, you asked for the most memorable, not best [laughs]. So I once went on a date with a guy who, of course, thought it was cool to put a boutonniere pin (the 2″ ones) in his mouth, and ended up swallowing it after dinner. Spent the night in the hospital after having it surgically removed.
Well, damn. That’s definitely a memorable one. So what makes you the ultimate partner to have?
I am a giver. I feel like almost to a fault that I will give you my heart, my soul, and my all including all the special toppings.
What are three of your ultimate deal breakers when it comes to men?
Hygiene, the way he speaks about others, and work ethic.
What do you do for fun?
I love adventures. I always love visiting new places and meeting new people.
Do you like video games?
I do like video games, but I don’t play them, it’s been quite a while. I would say Mario maybe, or something like that, that was always my favourite.
What do you do for fun?
I love going for long walks. I like finding wooded parks everywhere I travel and I walk. The coolest place I’ve walked was the Trail of the Giants, where the Redwoods are.
Do you like video games?
I typically do not, but I did start playing Hogwarts Legacy.
What about music?
I used to listen to a lot of Alternative Rock/emo back in HS. Now, I still do, but with country and 2000s rap and hip-hop mixed in.
Anything else you like doing?
I like planting and watching my Mammoth sunflowers grow, if I have time to get my garden in order.
If you want to buy me a drink: Amaretto Sour
My favourite part of my home town: Baseball!
If you watch any film this year, make sure you watch this: Make sure you watch Inside Out 2. I know it’s a kid’s movie, but it’s so relatable to adulthood.
If I could play any role: I would choose Elphaba from Wicked. My childhood nickname was Songbird for a reason.
My most overplayed track: ONE MORE TIME by Blink-182.
The biggest misconception about me: I’m a snob. I’m just quiet. But, if you talk to me first, I’ll chat your ear off.
The best part of my career: The flexibility to be able to see friends and family. Also get to travel and see neat places across our country.
We’re really happy to have gotten to know you a little bit! Any last words out there for your new stalke— erm… fans?
Enjoy the view, and I’ll enjoy you.
