Awesome cosplay photos of DOA’s Tai Chi hottie.
As you all may know, we love fighting games, ESPECIALLY Tecmo’s Dead or Alive series. We got turned on to the first game in an arcade years back, and subsequently got… um, turned on.
Lei Fang was one of those characters that we didn’t play with a lot in the beginning, but once we did, she was a LOT of fun to play with.
We found awesome photos of a Japanese girl cosplaying Lei Fang in her alternate cat costume. We’re sure that you’ll like them as much as we do.
If you don’t know anything about the lovely Lei Fang, here is some background info:
Lei Fang is a 19 year-old college student from China and a master of Tai Chi Chuan. Six years prior to the series, she was saved from a group of thugs by fellow DOA character, Jann Lee. Although she was very grateful for being saved, she felt that she could have handled the situation herself.
After that incident, she mastered Tai Chi, and set out to prove her strength to Jann Lee. As a result, she has entered every tournament to prove to him that she can handle herself and that she is also a strong individual. Lei Fang lost to Jann Lee in almost every tournament, finally defeating him in DOA4.
Coming from a wealthy family, Lei Fang has a very independent spirit, but is also said to be spunky, intelligent and cheerful. Practicing martial arts has given her a strong dedication to self-improvement, both mentally and physically.
Lei Fang hopes that by honing her own skills, she can eventually help others to do the same. However, along with a strong motivation for self-improvement, Lei Fang is also somewhat arrogant. She has become angry at Jann Lee for helping in a time of need, rather than thanking him for his assistance.
Her young age and general inexperience with the world around her can sometimes cause her to not fully think things through. This is particularly evident in DOA4 where she fights with her friend Hitomi over a simple cabbage or when kicking an old man out of a train after he accidentally grabbed her boobs.
