Polish photographer Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz runs photography studio Aurumlight, gained a lot of press after photos from his Milky PinUps calendar made the rounds on the internet in 2013. The images were later purchased by Chicago-based dairy company FairLife Milk for an advertising campaign. Now Jaroslav is back with a new project called Splash Heroes, which builds on the Milky PinUps concept, paying homage to comic book characters that he believes are strong female heroes. The heroes include Wonder Woman, Power Girl, She-Hulk, Elektra and others.
Jaroslav’s photo creations are absolute masterpieces, and from what we’ve heard, require a lot of work and can get pretty messy. Like his Milky PinUps, the Splash Heroes series needed precise calculations, with the exact placement of milk being thrown at the models, the precise timing of the camera and flash trigger, and tons of post-production work. We’ve got the images from the uber-sexy photo set, which you can check out below:
The photos from the Splash Heroes series are being made into a new 2015 calendar. The limited-edition calendars are numbered and signed, and can be ordered directly via email at info@AurumLight.com for £39.99 (62.84 USD) plus shipping. The calendar will ship anywhere in the world.
