Chulo Magazine takes model safety very seriously. We are aware of certain people pretending to be Chulo Magazine photographers or talent scouts who are contacting its models and/or fans asking for photographs or money for modelling application fees.
It’s fucking creepy, and we can’t have that.
Because we can’t stand creepy people, we want to remind you that if you are ever contacted by someone you don’t recognise, whether via email, phone, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other media channel, claiming to be a photographer, journalist, or representative from Chulo Magazine, please email us at hello [at] chulomagazine.com, to confirm they are a genuine member of the Chulo Magazine team.
You should never send any photos, personal details, money, or arrange to meet up with someone unless you are 100% sure that they are actually who they claim to be.
Chulo Magazine Staff is only ever allowed to contact you via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email. The exceptions to this are:
- Antonio Sandoval (Editor)
- Miguel Pedroza (Editor)
With this said, you should only correspond with the following sources:
- Our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ChuloMagazine
- Our official Twitter account at @ChuloMagazine
- Our official Instagram account at @chulomagazine
- Email addresses ending in @chulomagazine.com
If you have any questions regarding model safety or anything else, please feel free to contact us using the form here. If you’re interested in being featured in Chulo Magazine, additional information can be found by clicking here. If there is something that we’re missing, read the F.A.Q. here.
