Frequently Asked Questions

Modelling for Chulo Magazine

How do I get published in Chulo Magazine?

If you can’t make it to a Chulo Magazine Casting Call, the easiest way to submit your photos is to use the form on our Model Search Page. You must submit a variety of photos, including one head-and-shoulders shot plus three to five full-figure body shots (front and back views). The photos do not need to be shot by a professional, but they should be in focus.

How many images do you require for submission?

A minimum of four, and up to six photos of yourself, including your face and full figure front and back. Nude photos are allowed, but not a requirement.

Is there any particular style of photo that you’re looking for?

We typically look for the following types of images:

  • Lingerie
  • Nude (tasteful/artistic)
  • Implied nude
  • Bikini
  • Cosplay
  • Gamer
  • Superhero undies or inspired colour scheme.

If I’m accepted into Chulo Magazine, how many photos should I send?

A minimum of six photos. However, if you ARE accepted to become part of Chulo Magazine, we will send you an email with all the information you will need. Please note, if the photos we receive are previously published, online or elsewhere, we won’t use those photos for print.

I’m a male model. How can I get published in Chulo Magazine?

Unfortunately, we don’t publish male models in Chulo Magazine, unless they’re part of one of our ad campaigns.

Photographers

Do you accept submissions of models from photographers?

Yes, we do! If you would like to have your photos published in Chulo Magazine, please use the Photographer Submission Form.

Can I submit a model for the cover?

Submitting photos does not guarantee that a model will be chosen for the cover.
