To celebrate Friday the 13th, Warner Bros. confirmed details for the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack, the ultimate pass providing fans with some sweet Mortal Kombat X DLC, some of which Warner Bros. says will be available beginning at launch on 14 April 2015.
The Kombat Pack will include access to four playable characters still in development, including none other than Jason Voorhees, the machete-wielding badass from the Friday the 13th film series, as well as two classic Mortal Kombat and an additional special guest character. For UK gamers, the Kombat Pack is included in the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition, and will be available for purchase separately for £24.99. Also starting at the Mortal Kombat X launch date, fans who purchase the Kombat Pack will receive the Samurai Pack, which contains three new character skins, which includes Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character. Kombat Pack owners will gain early access to the following future DLC content before it’s available for individual sale.
Mortal Kombat X launches on 15 April 2015 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
