We first saw Marshall Law in Paul Phoenix‘s recent gameplay trailer, and now we have a look at the character’s move set. Law, who was famously inspired by legendary martial arts movie star Bruce Lee, really leans heavily into the iconic inspiration in Tekken 8.
Bandai Namco‘s latest gameplay trailer features a new look for Law, where he sports nunchucks in addition to his trademark stance hops, hand taunts, nose flicks, finger-pointing, and high-pitched battle cries.

The character’s updated move set, which includes his classic Somersault Flip and Legend Kick, is shown through a series of combos and counters. The most notable new Rage Art is a recreation of Bruce Lee’s famous stomp from 1973’s Enter the Dragon. All we can say is… JESUS FREAKING CHRIST. We thought Jin Kazama’s new moves were something, but Law is CLEARLY vying to make himself everyone’s go-to character.
Currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Tekken 8 is a sequel to 2017’s Tekken 7, and features an upgraded visual style powered by Unreal Engine.
Although no release date has been announced, Bandai Namco has revealed that Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, and Jack-8 will return as playable characters in Tekken 8.
