Warner Bros. dropped the first trailer for The Flash during Super Bowl Sunday yesterday, and without missing a beat have released new The Flash character posters, as we get closer to the Flashpoint-inspired film that will reset the DC universe as we know it. Take a look at the posters for Ezra Miller’s Flash, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl below:
The Flash has been a long time coming, hampered by shifting directors, production delays, and scandals involving its star, so it’s great to see that the film is looking so promising. DC Studios co-head James Gunn promises fans that everything will be fine in the new official DC Universe of films, which will jump off with The Flash. In fact, Gunn has made the lofty claim that The Flash is ‘probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.’
Ahem, this remains to be seen, mate.
Nothing about Ezra Miller’s future in the new DC Universe has been revealed, but it looks like James Gunn and Peter Safran are likely waiting to see how well The Flash is received.
