Best mates turned bitter enemies. That’s the story of Transformers One, the latest flick in the mega-popular Transformers series that kicked off way back in 2007 with Michael Bay’s banger. This time, we’re heading back to Cybertron for the untold tale of Optimus Prime and Megatron – the two robots who started the whole Autobots vs Decepticons thing.
Paramount Pictures dropped a new Transformers One trailer today and it looks like there’s plenty of action, drama, and laughs. Chris Hemsworth is on board as the future Optimus Prime, Orion Pax, and he’s bringing the funny along with Brian Tyree Henry as D-16, the Protoform Megatron. Keegan-Michael Key’s Bumblebee character is also looking like a right laugh-a-minute.
The film’s got a star-studded cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Jon Hamm, Laurence Fishburne, and Steve Buscemi. Transformers One hits cinemas on 20 September 2024, and we ABSOLUTELY Can’t wait!
