In the latest trailer for the assassin-packed action/comedy Bullet Train, Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt reunite onscreen for the first time since The Lost City.
Bullock plays Maria Beetle, the handler of a bucket-hat-wearing, wisecracking killing machine called Ladybug (Pitt). She tasks him with retrieving a briefcase from a high-speed train in Japan and safely exiting before the next stop.
When Ladybug realizes the train is packed with his fellow assassins, some of whom have ties to his past, things get a little hairy. David Leitch, who directed Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde, directs the stylish action flick.
The new trailer also reveals more details about the film’s fast-paced plot, which is based on Japanese author Kotaro Isaka’s hit novel ‘Maria Beetle’, which was translated into English as Bullet Train.

Ladybug runs fellow assassins Prince (Joey King), Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), and Hornet (Zazie Beetz), as well as cameos by pop singer Bad Bunny as Wolf, and Michael Shannon as Jay Wang.
Bullet Train is set to hit cinemas 15 July 2022.
