Last week, we saw bad-boy Kazuya Mishima in action in a new Tekken 8 trailer. Bandai Namco has released another Tekken 8 trailer, this time for Jin Kazama, Kazuya’s son, and the game’s eternally moody protagonist.
The two are fighting on a brand-new stage that looks like a Tekken-fied Times Square in New York, similar to Kazuya’s trailer. Once again, we’re treated to some stunning visual effects as Jin demonstrates some previously unseen moves, including a few from Devil Jin. You can check out the trailer below:
Though an energy-based wing appears briefly on Jin’s back, it doesn’t seem that Jin ever fully transforms in this trailer. This is certainly interesting, as it’s been shown that while the Heat System is active, Kazuya will transform into Devil Kazuya.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for the Sony PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A sequel to 2017’s Tekken 7, the game features an upgraded visual style powered by the increasingly epic Unreal Engine.
Although no release date has been announced, Bandai Namco has revealed that Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, and Jack-8 will return as playable characters in Tekken 8.
Now, if you didn’t say something akin to ‘gawd-DAMN!’ whilst watching Jin Kazama, then your life is likely devoid of fun, and we can’t help you. Anyway, Tekken 8 continues to look absolutely mad, but how do you think it’ll all come together? Let us know in the comments below, on Facebook, or on Twitter.
