OK! The legendary Terry Bogard is making the leap from SNK’s Fatal Fury to join the Street Fighter 6 roster. That’s right, the charismatic, pony-tailed brawler is coming to dish out some serious punishment this autumn.
The news dropped at this year’s Evolution Championship Series (Evo), where players got their first glimpse of Terry in action. It’s a dream come true for fans of both series, and we can’t wait to see how his signature moves translate to the Street Fighter universe. You can check out the teaser trailer below.
Terry will be playable in all three modes – World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub – so you can take him anywhere. Whether you’re mastering his combos in training, battling online, or living out your fighting game fantasies in World Tour, Terry’s got you covered.
But that’s not all! Street Fighter 6 continues to absolutely DOMINATE the fighting game scene, with a massive turnout at Evo 2024. A huge congrats to Punk for taking home the top prize!
Joining Terry on the Year 2 Character Pass is the returning villain, M. Bison, who’s already causing chaos. And if you’re craving even more fighters, don’t worry – the world’s hottest Kunoichi, Mai Shiranui will be arriving in early 2025, followed by Capoeirista Elena in spring. Suffice it to say, that’s a stacked lineup!
So, whether you’re a die-hard Street Fighter fan or a curious newcomer, there’s never been a better time to jump in. With Terry Bogard on the horizon and a roster full of iconic characters, the future of fighting games is looking brighter than ever.
