Disney+ has released the official trailer for ‘Crater’, a new film starring Kid Cudi, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, McKenna Grace, and others, has been released. You can check out the trailer below:
In the sci-fi adventure film, Caleb Channing, played by Russell-Bailey, is a young boy raised in a lunar mining colony. Before embarking on an expedition to a mysterious crater with three of his closest friends and a recent arrival from Earth, he mourns the death of his father, played by Cudi. This could be his last mission before being transferred to another planet.
Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, and Thomas Boyce round out the main cast, which also includes Cudi, Russell-Bailey, and Grace. Kyle Patrick Alvarez directs from a script written by John Gryphon, with Dan Cohen, Dan Levine, and Shawn Levy serving as producers.
It’s been ages since Disney has done an original movie, let alone one in the sci-fi genre. The trailer definitely gives Goonies vibes, and our nostalgic selves are definitely here for it.
