She’s been seen a ton of places in the UK, from Candy Mag, NUTS, More Magazine, and lots more.
We’re happy that we finally got a chance to catch up with Salena, and get some answers to our favourite Q&A.
What’s your full name?
Salena Lima
Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
I was born in London. As a kid growing up was fun and I loved school – I’ve always loved studying. But as I got older I became a bit of a rebel. In my teenage years, I resided in America.
What nationality are you?
British, Jamaican, and Brazilian. My family has Cuban also.
Do you go to college?
I am currently studying.
How long have you been modelling?
A year and 9 months.
How did you get your start in modelling?
By going for it and getting opportunities.
Where have we seen you?
More Magazine, music videos, the Sun Newspaper for my partake in the 2011 ‘Help the Heroes’ calendar, which I’m inside of and on the cover of (funny, it even made Chinese news), NUTS magazine and fashion shows. I’m currently a Miss Flavor 2011 finalist.
What do you like best about being a model?
Being able to express myself through art.
What would you be if you weren’t a model?
An English teacher, or a singer.
What would the average person say about you?
That’s I’m a cool girl, I’m funny, and I like to flirt.
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?
I’m a freak! (laughs) Just joking. I’m a lovable person to the right people.
Are you a good dancer?
Yes, I can dance for days.
What do guys compliment you most on?
Random guys off the street tell me “Hi cherry lips” when I’m walking along. So probably my lips. And my legs.
Do you like the nerdy type, MMA fighter guy or the regular Joe?
If it’s the nerdy type, it has to be someone who still has some swag like Pharrell Williams or Lupe Fiasco. If it’s the regular Joe type, it has to be someone sexy, cool, cute & manly. As for MMA fighters… That could work too, but nothing like Hulk Hogan, but some hot muscle is always sexy.
Are you seeing anyone? Do we stand a chance with you?
No, and yes.
Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures?
Yes, a few… Chill out with me someday to find out.
What’s your biggest turn-on?
Eyes, hands, personality and drive.
Do you consider yourself more of a “giver” or a “taker”?
A giver.
What is the most romantic thing a guy has done for you?
I’m still waiting.
If you could have any car you wanted, what would it be?
An [Ferrari] Enzo or a hot motorcycle.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can be a bit bendy. One of my friends had nicknamed me Bendy Wendy. (laughs) Anyway, I like to write and I’m good at taking photographs, as I studied it anyway.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you?
That question is hard. Anywhere with beautiful oceans and beaches, amazing food, and people. I’d take my family or my guy if I had one at that time.
What do you normally sleep in?
Sometimes just my bra, but I always take it off in the night. So… The answer is nothing.
What is your favourite food?
Japanese, Chinese, Caribbean… So many, I love food.
Who is your favourite comedian?
Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, and Eddie Murphy. Uk’s Slim is also funny.
What do you do for fun?
It varies.
Do you like video games?
Yep!
Yeah? So what do you play?
A variety, but I love them old-school games like Street Fighter. I can’t be touched.
Are you into sports? Do you have a favourite sports team?
Yeah, it’s cool. I like Basketball, The Lakers. And I like seeing the Williams sisters play tennis. They got skills.
What are your dreams and goals?
To be successful and accomplish whatever I put my mind to. Also to help others in any positive way I can.
