You know, in the time that Chulo Magazine has been around, we have never featured a hottie from Chicago. We were actually starting to think that there just wasn’t any hope for the city, until we received the lovely Erica Danielle’s model submission. We were totally happy to see that Chi-Town can bring the heat!
So with that said, here are Erica’s responses to our favourite Q&A.
What’s your full name?
Erica Danielle
Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
I was born in Chicago, IL, and my childhood was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a more supportive family. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
What nationality are you?
African American, German, and Irish.
Do you go to college?
I graduated from Jackson State University in 2006 with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Meteorology.
How long have you been modelling?
For most of my life and dedicated the last 4 yrs to developing my business and brand.
Your brand? What brand is that?
Erica Danielle is my brand. Not just a pretty face, but a woman that possesses beauty and brains. I am an educated, business-oriented and diverse individual.
Krim DeLa Krim? What does you company do?
How did you get your start in modelling?
I started out doing commercials and fashion shows.
Where have we seen you?
Skin Tones Magazine, UGFM Magazine, Red Skye Comics, International Film Festival, Animate Objects “Jesse Jackson” music video, commercials, various calendars and websites.
Do you consider yourself famous?
Not famous, but well known in many countries and that’s a huge accomplishment. People tend not to realize what comes with fame.
In many countries? Can you name a few for us?
Stockholm Sweden, Paris France, and Beijing China.
Do people recognize you when you’re out and about?
How do they treat you? Yes, they say, I know you from FB/Twitter/Fashion Shows/Seen you in a mag, etc. it’s crazy sometimes when random people approach you.
What do you like best about being a model?
I enjoy expressing myself through photography. Networking with people in the industry is a plus as well.
What would you be if you weren’t a model?
A Musician.
What would the average person say about you?
I have a strong personality, am outgoing, knowledgeable in many subjects, am a workaholic and am driven.
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?
That I am fearless.
Are you a good dancer?
I’m not much of a dancer, but I will cut a rug if the right song is played.
Oh yeah? What songs are those?
Beyonce – “We Like to Party”, Ying Yang Twins – “Salt Shaker”, Lil John – “Get Low” and “Snap Yo’ Fingers”.
What do guys compliment you most on?
My hair and overall presence. I carry myself with respect and I am very laid back. Men love a confident woman.
Do you like the nerdy type, MMA fighter guy or the regular Joe?
I prefer the nerdy type and would prefer if he had his own style. You can always learn something from a nerdy guy.
Are you seeing anyone? Do we stand a chance with you?
I am happily engaged and no one else stands a chance.
Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures?
Half-naked women in magazines.*
What’s your biggest turn on?
Confidence and drive.
Do you consider yourself more of a “giver” or a “taker”?
I have my moments when I enjoy both, but overall I’m a taker. I get what I want!
What is the most romantic thing a guy has done for you?
Secretly planned out my birthday celebration in France.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I play the flute/piccolo/saxophone/piano. I’m multi-talented!
What would you consider your strongest attribute?
Excellent communication skills. Communication is the key to success.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you?
My fiancé would escort me to South Africa.
What do you normally sleep in?
Maybe my 1992 Chicago Bulls Championship T-shirt or nothing.

What do you do for fun?
Travel the world
Do you like video games? If so, what do you play?
Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Contract Killer, and Street Fighter are my favourites. For some reason, I like violent games.
Are you into sports? Do you have a favourite sports team?
Yes, I like basketball and the Chicago Bulls will always be my number one team.
What are your dreams and goals?
My goals are to continually grow daily as a person, build my company Krim DeLa Krim Exposed and help others obtain their goals.
