Square Enix and DontNod Entertainment has announced the release date of their brand new, episodic, narrative-driven adventure game Life is Strange. The game was first announced to be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, but Square Enix has since added the PS3 and Xbox 360 to the game’s console releases. Life is Strange’s upcoming release was first announced back in August, but if you don’t know what the game is about, and are just too lazy to click the link (seriously, it’s RIGHT there), here’s the rundown:
In Life is Strange, you play as photography student Max Caulfield, who returns to the fictitious town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon after a five-year absence and reconnects with her old friend Chloe. And this is where the game’s twist comes in: while saving Chloe, Max discovers that she has a remarkable power — the ability to rewind time. The girls soon find themselves exposed to the darker side of Arcadia Bay as they uncover the disturbing truth behind the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber.
