Hailing from Austin, Texas, model hottie Laura Shima Darby, better known as L. Shima is an uber-sexy exotic blend of Japanese, Black, and Irish. Starting her modelling career almost right out of high school, Shima’s amazing 36D-29-36 figure has appeared in a ton of places including The Hundreds, Modelz View, Lowrider, and Playboy.
Before she decided to become a full-time model, Shima was working at a porn shop, at the age of 19. Growing tired of the same routine, she wanted something new. SXSW 2012 came along, and Shima decided to take the week off from work, using the event to put all of her focus on her modelling. From there, L. Shima was born, and she hasn’t slowed down since. The 23-year-old up-and-comer says that while modelling has always interested her, her real passion lies in the fashion industry. She says that she sees modelling as providing opportunities for her in the fashion world, with her eventual career choice being a designer or stylist. Shima says that currently, she plans to stick with modelling for a few more years until the age of 26 to 32, hoping that by that point she’ll have a foot in the fashion industry, and be educated enough to pursue it as she would like.
