We’re kicking ourselves for missing this one. Back in April, Sabrina Carpenter was an absolute smoke show in Skims‘ retro-themed campaign. Seriously, how did we not hear about this?
Carpenter says she’s been a fan of Skims for ages, wearing pieces from their Stretch Lace and Fits Everybody collections. Think babydoll tops, briefs, bralettes – the whole lot. She said they’re super comfy and flattering.
She saw a real connection between the brand’s femininity and the campaign’s vibe. British photographer Jack Bridgland shot it, and captured her perfectly.
Kim Kardashian, Skims’ cofounder and chief creative officer, was all about Sabrina’s playful style, saying it was perfect for the spring collection, which includes high-cut bodysuits and micro thongs too, if you’re into that.
Kardashian said, ‘Sabrina is not only a very talented musician, but she also has a fashion sense and an “it” factor that really resonates with the next generation.’
Sabrina’s joined the club of musicians like Lana Del Rey and Nelly Furtado who’ve been showing off their stuff in Skims campaigns. She’s no newbie to lingerie modelling either – she strutted her stuff in Savage x Fenty’s fashion show back in 2021.
Anyway, while we’re definitely a bit late to the game, it’s better late than never, right? So, what do you think? Let us know on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, or Instagram.
