We recently mentioned that Fatal Fury’s iconic brawler, Terry Bogard, will be joining the Street Fighter 6 roster on 24 September 2024, which marks the first time a guest character has stepped into the Street Fighter ring!

Terry’s gameplay was shown at Gamescom 2024’s Opening Night Live yesterday, with a more in-depth look following shortly after. Players can duke it out with Terry in all three game modes: Fighting Ground, Battle Hub, and World Tour. Plus, he’s a new Master in World Tour’s Metro City.

Terry Bogard's Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves outfit for Street Fighter 6

In addition to Terry’s new moveset, which incorporates mechanics from SNK’s Fatal Fury series, Capcom also revealed a new outfit for Terry Bogard and fight stage.

New Outfit and Stage

Terry’s new outfit is straight out of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, featuring a brown jacket and jeans. Unlock this retro look by maximising your bond with him in World Tour or by using Fighter Coins.

The new Pao Pao Cafe 6 stage is packed with Easter eggs and cameos from the Fatal Fury series. Year 2 Ultimate Pass owners will automatically gain access to the Cafe stage on 24 September, and the stage can also be purchased separately with Fighter Coins or Drive Tickets.

Terry Bogard’s Iconic Moveset

Get ready to unleash Terry’s classic attacks from previous Fatal Fury instalments, such as Power Geyser and Passing Sway:

  • Passing Sway: A unique target combo that moves to the back ‘lane’ of the stage when it hits, then has Terry reappear on either side of his opponent with Jumping Lariat or Jumping Knee – a mechanic directly from the Fatal Fury series.
  • Power Wave: A fireball projectile that travels along the ground. The light version is slower, while the medium version ignites a larger wave.
  • Burn Knuckle: A forward thrusting punch, ideal for surprises and closing the distance. The light version, Quick Burn, is a hook followed by an unblockable downward punch when crouching.
  • Buster Wolf: Terry’s Level 1 Super Art, a charging forward thrust with a burst of energy, is invincible on start-up.
  • Power Geyser: Terry’s Level 2 Super Art, a volcanic explosion that pushes opponents away. A successful hit allows you to spend 3 Drive Gauge bars for a Twin Geyser follow-up, and then 1 Super Art gauge for the iconic Triple Geyser.
  • Rising Fang: Terry’s Level 3 Super Art, a deadly sequence of attacks culminating in a powerful blast.

Terry Bogard is included in the Year 2 Character Pass and Year 2 Ultimate Pass. M. Bison is already available, and Mai Shiranui and Elena are coming in early 2025 and spring 2025. Stay tuned for more details!

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
