Get ready for some fiery fisticuffs, Tekken fans! The legendary Heihachi Mishima, Tekken’s favourite grumpy granddad, is clawing his way back into the ring. That’s right, the King of Iron Fist himself was revealed as the next DLC character at EVO 2024, returning to the Tekken 8 roster this autumn!

This marks the third DLC pack for Tekken 8, following the arrival of slick Brazilian capoeirista Eddy Gordo and the powerful Lidia Sobieska, the Warrior Prime Minister (who, by the way, you can grab right now!). The developers, Bandai Namco, haven’t revealed how Heihachi will be packing a punch in this new iteration, but with his fiery personality and signature moves like the Demon Ogre and the unblockable ‘Waving Fist,’ you can bet he’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

Speaking of fire, Tekken 8 has already been turning heads with its stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5. Every fighter is looking sharper than ever, and the environments are even more dynamic and destructible, for that next-level smackdown experience.

So, if you’re itching to settle some family disputes with a good old-fashioned beatdown, or just want to experience Tekken 8’s groundbreaking visuals, the game is already out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

You can check out the Heihachi reveal trailer above, and for more info on the game and upcoming DLC, check out the official Tekken website: https://tekken.com/.
