The 2023 Chulo Magazine Awards nominees were announced early Monday morning. This year’s nominees include crowd-pleasing mind-bender ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ as well as other multiverse-inspired films ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ for Best Movie.
‘Elden Ring’, ‘God of War Ragnarök’, and ‘Horizon Forbidden West’ are up for Video Game of the Year, along with a surprise nomination for ‘Tunic’, from indie developer Finji.
Other notable nominations include YouTube sensations Coast Contra and Connor Price for Best New Music Artist, cosplay legend Jessica Nigri and Gal Gadot doppelgänger Lis Wonder for Best Cosplay Model, and several others including best friends Holly Sonders and Claudia Fijal for Best Social Media Model.
The voting period for the Awards will begin on Monday, 10 April 2023. Fans worldwide will be able to vote for their favourites in 10 categories, including ‘Best Movie,’ ‘Best Album,’ ‘Cosplay Model of the Year,’ and more, by visiting chulomagawards.com until Monday, 17 April 2023, at 6:00 pm CST. The winners will be announced on Saturday, 22 April 2023.
