Bandai Namco has released another Tekken 8 gameplay trailer, this time featuring Mexican luchador King (we know he’s technically King II, shut up). The jaguar-masked wrestler has been a Tekken staple since the series’ inception, delivering high-flying, devastating destruction. And King looks incredible in the latest Tekken 8 gameplay trailer, bringing the pain with a series of pro-wrestling moves. You can check out the trailer below:

The gameplay trailer reveals the character’s new look, which incorporates elements of his Tekken 7 costume, though the cape he wears is slightly redesigned in the front. The Atomic Drop, Frankensteiner, Wristlock, Knee Cross Lock, Choke Slam, Power Bomb, Suplex, Back Slam, Boston Crab, Russian Leg Sweep, Giant Swing, and German Suplex, are among the King’s updated catch moves. The moves have new camera work as well, which makes everything feel more dynamic.

Currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Tekken 8 is a sequel to 2017’s Tekken 7, and features an upgraded visual style powered by Unreal Engine.

Although no release date has been announced, Bandai Namco has revealed that Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, and Jack-8 will return as playable characters in Tekken 8.
