We love Cosplay girls. We also love the game Dead or Alive. So NATURALLY we would love them together. For this reason, we’re happy to present DOA’s Kasumi as today’s Cosplay Girl.
Here’s some background info on this picture of pixellated perfection (Yes, we totally just made that up).
Kasumi is one of the first three females that appeared in the series (alongside Lei Fang and Tina Armstrong), She became the main protagonist of Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2. Kasumi is also known as “the Kunoichi of Destiny”, belonging to the “Mugen Tenshin” ninja clan.
Just in case you were wondering, Mugen Tenshi means “Infinite Heavenly God“.
She was to become the 18th master of the Mugen Tenshin ninja clan and a secret warrior for all mankind, but ran away in order to enter the Dead or Alive tournament. However, leaving the secretive ninja clan made her a Nukenin (runaway shinobi), and she is obliged to live on the run from former comrades seeking to hunt her down and exact retribution for her traitorous action.
So we’ve given you all of this back story, and we’re sure you’re wondering “Who’s the girl in the pictures?” Well, it’s none other than legendary Japanese cosplay hottie Kipi Nopan. Okay, she may not be legendary, but she has been seen all over the place in the cosplay universe. And she’s hot.
